Who runs this site

Toolentra is an independent AI tool review publication. We are not affiliated with any AI software vendor.

The site was built by a small team of independent researchers. We start with therapists, real estate agents, and teachers — and expand to more professions as our coverage grows.

What we actually do

We research every tool we cover in depth. That means reading the official documentation, pricing pages, compliance documentation, and independent user reports — not relying on vendor marketing copy. We evaluate tools across the dimensions that matter most to each profession: a therapy documentation tool gets evaluated for accuracy, HIPAA compliance, and EHR integration; a real estate CRM gets evaluated for lead management, MLS integration, and workflow automation.

We do not base ratings on marketing copy or vendor-submitted materials.

How we earn money

We may earn revenue through affiliate programs and sponsored content. When you sign up for a tool through one of our affiliate links, we may receive a commission from the vendor at no cost to you. We also accept sponsored reviews and placements from vendors.

Every commercial relationship is disclosed on the relevant page before it goes live. Sponsored content is clearly labelled. Affiliate links are routed through /go/[slug].

We do not:

• Allow sponsors to dictate editorial conclusions
• Rank a tool higher because it pays a higher commission
• Accept payment to remove honest criticism

How ratings work

Ratings are on a 0–5 scale and reflect our editorial judgment across five dimensions:

1. Core functionality — does it do the primary job well?
2. Reliability — does it work consistently, with acceptable error rates?
3. Value — is the pricing justified by the capability delivered?
4. Compliance — does it meet the regulatory requirements of the target profession?
5. Support — does the vendor respond usefully when things break?

No tool earns a 5.0 from us. That score would require perfection across all dimensions, which no software achieves.

Why trust us

Any commercial relationships we hold are fully disclosed. We have no incentive to mislead — a recommendation that disappoints readers damages our credibility more than any sponsorship is worth. Our editorial conclusions are never for sale.

Our methodology is public. If you disagree with a rating or believe we missed something material in a review, contact us.

Update policy

Tool data is reviewed quarterly at minimum. When pricing or features change meaningfully, we update the page and the last_data_updated_at date visible on every review. If a tool we reviewed significantly deteriorates, we revise the rating downward and explain why.
