How we earn money and what that means for our reviews.

Affiliate relationships
Toolentra participates, or intends to participate, in affiliate marketing programs. This means that when you click certain links on this site and subsequently purchase or subscribe to a product, we may receive a commission from the vendor at no additional cost to you.
Links that go through /go/[slug] on this domain are affiliate links. All outbound affiliate links carry the attributes rel="sponsored noopener nofollow". Where no affiliate program is active for a tool, links go directly to the vendor's website and generate no revenue for us.
Sponsored content
We accept sponsored reviews and sponsored placements. When content is sponsored, it is clearly labelled as such at the top of the page. Sponsorship does not guarantee a positive review — our editorial assessment remains honest and independent regardless of commercial arrangement.
What this means for our reviews
Our editorial methodology is designed to remain independent of commercial relationships. Tools are evaluated based on research, documentation, user reports, and feature analysis.
We do not:
- Allow sponsors or affiliate partners to dictate editorial conclusions
- Rank a tool higher because it pays a higher commission
- Remove honest criticism in exchange for payment
If a sponsored tool earns a poor rating, that rating stands. If a non-sponsored tool is the best option, it ranks first.
FTC compliance
In accordance with the Federal Trade Commission's guidelines (16 C.F.R. § 255), we disclose material connections to vendors on every page that contains affiliate links or sponsored content. Disclosure notices appear visibly on relevant pages — not in footnotes.
Current relationships
Affiliate and sponsorship relationships are listed here as they become active. This list is updated whenever a relationship is added or terminated.
No active affiliate or sponsorship relationships at this time. This page will be updated when relationships are established.
Professional and compliance decisions
Our reviews are intended to help professionals evaluate software options. They are not professional, legal, or compliance advice. Readers should independently evaluate whether a tool is appropriate for their requirements before making a purchase decision.
