About Eduaide.Ai
Eduaide.Ai was built by two active middle school teachers — Thomas Thompson (Social Studies) and Thomas Hummel (Science) — who wanted an AI tool that understood actual classroom workflow rather than a generic writing assistant retrofitted for education. The result is a workspace with 110+ distinct resource types covering the full range of lesson and unit planning: bell ringers, worked examples, anticipation guides, vocabulary word walls, graphic organizers, unit plans, slide outlines, discussion prompts, and more.
The AI assistant "Erasmus" allows conversational refinement of generated outputs — teachers can ask Erasmus to adjust reading level, change the instructional approach, or add a specific framework like 5E or backwards design. One-click differentiation generates ELL, IEP, and above/below grade level variants from any resource. The Feedback Bot grades student writing against a rubric and returns structured comments.
Eduaide.Ai is entirely teacher-facing — no student login, no student data collected. FERPA compliance is structural rather than policy-based. The Pro plan at $5.99/month ($49.99/year) is the lowest price point for an unlimited AI teaching workspace in this category. The free tier provides 15 generations per month.

Pros and cons
What it does well
- 110+ resource types — the broadest output range of any K-12 AI planning tool
- $5.99/month Pro is the cheapest unlimited AI teaching workspace in the category
- Built by practicing classroom teachers — pedagogical depth shows in framework support (5E, backwards design)
- Zero student data by design — FERPA compliance is structural, not a policy layer
Limitations
- Free tier limited to 15 generations/month — restrictive for regular weekly use
- No student-facing features or LMS integrations
- Outputs sometimes require significant editing — breadth occasionally trades off against output quality
